#3 CD Tenerife
(-250)
vs
#8 CD Castellon (+525)

One of my trustworthy sources rates this match as a 3-0 CD Tenerife win.

But my question is, is this league wrapped up? I mean it looks like its nearing the end and like someone previously mentioned, most of these teams are already going on vacation. Can anyone confirm if either of these two teams are playing for something today?

totally wrapped up, nothing to be decided

Tenerife, with a win, take the Segunda title but they've already advanced to La Liga with Xerez and Zaragoza

nothing meaningful about winning Segunda except pride. Will check team news for you...brb

That was quick! Thanks for the info buddy I'll wait for the rest of it before I make my choice, but right now leaning to no play...

CD Castellon just blew some team out in their last game 4-0 but that was a home game for them vs a mediocre team, I don't see nearly the same result vs Tenerife at their home grounds.

ok so it looks like Tenerife do want to win the title but maybe even more interested in getting their striker, Nino, one goal which pushes him past Ewerthon as top scorer of Segunda

Castellon with terrible history in Tenerife, 1-4-16, and haven't won in 23 years there. Both teams without 4-5 regulars and Castellon have 6 starters that will not be with team next year, so will play hard for new contract with another team

Big negative is that Tenerife players have been partying all week with promotion to La Liga

Good work there, so what do YOU think? Is it worth a 2.5 units to win 1 unit play?

Are you 100% certain they were all partying over the weekend?

yes, read articles that said players have been in party mode for a week but that they are really interested in both winning title and getting Nino the golden boot

my bookie did not post a total otherwise I'd be on the over. as far as the side i'd guess tenerife will win. a draw means Xerez wins Segunda title so they'll press for victory. I'd definitely be on the over but will sit this one out since i have no odds

Yep, no over/under posted on my book either.

EDIT: Bookmaker, the book that doesn't like soccer action, doesn't have the total posted. But 5dimes does, over 2.5 (-151) with under 2.5 (+131).

The title of champion for the second CD would be Tenerife if you win or draw Sunday in the Castellon CD

This is saying that they win the Segunda division with a win OR draw.

Much different than saying they need a victory today to win the Segunda...

You sure you had the facts straight, rolltide?

no i'm not sure but I can tell you the first tiebreaker, according to xscores is points amassed b/w teams h2h ... Xerez has 4 and Tenerife just 1, so i assumed that would be the deal

anyway enough talk about a match i'm not betting on
